Ranger Die - A Commitment to Excellence
Five friends in an old cider mill, that's how Ranger Die, Inc. started
in 1955. We have grown into a 95 employee tool shop and metal stamping plant
still located on the original site in northwest Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Ranger employees have designed and produced some of the finest high production tooling built anywhere in the world. Over the years, we have evolved into a fully capable metal stamping facility, shipping in excess of 1.5 million quality parts each month. We provide our customers with the unique capability to run off Ranger produced tooling at production rates with all required quality system support.
With a range of capabilities
and a commitment to excellence,
we are fully
prepared for any challenge.
- We will run Ranger built tooling for your company for as long as needed.
- We will contract to run your supplied tooling while building replacement tooling. When we accept a purchase order, we commit to building tooling that will produce parts that are statistically capable and to print.
- We will employ our tryout presses to produce initial parts and will set up new production tooling in our production presses prior to scheduled runoff to ensure that the tooling run off is completed smoothly.
- We insist on running several thousand parts in full production mode to prove the tooling. We have a complete ISO registered quality system. We employ well maintained, state of the art, coordinate-measuring machines. All customer quaility requirements will be met and layouts will be provided.
